25-year-old Davie had been renting a chair in a salon in the small town of Aberfeldy. When he decided to open up his own salon, he approached responsible finance provider, DSL Business Finance, for a loan in July 2016. That loan helped him start his new business by leasing the old library building in the town centre and fitting it out, thereby bringing a derelict building in the centre of a small town back into use.
